it use to be that all the 4 day Baja cruises stoped in San Diego, Catalina Island and Ensenada, but now they all do 2 stops and a day at sea, usually it will be Catalina and Ensenada.

but we have been there several times as cruise stops, 2002, 2013 and 2014.

on our next visit in 2014 with the kids we rented a van and went to Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, visited the Lego store at one of the malls and went by and looked at the San Diego LDS Temple.

Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, Mormon Batallion visitor center, my wife’s Great Great~Great Grandfather was part of the Mormon batallion and came across the plains with the Pioneers, it was neat to hear stories about what they experienced. and the kids got to pan for “gold”.
